Maybe some type of security fence but what the capitol needs is more security by the police, national guard, army, or whatever so members of Congress can be safe.

Not only (yes) all important parts of governing systems should be protected with more forces than just a fence. Fences alone don't protect houses enough, drones, guards, cameras- employ as much as needed. Especially after the recent storming- god that was pathetic.
